Cooperation
Students complete their professional internships directly with our partner institutions. The portfolio of placements is primarily within individual components of the Integrated Rescue System, public administration and local government, as well as in the business sector, especially in the fields of occupational health and safety, fire protection and security. Students work under the expert supervision of the course guarantor and an authorised professional employee. They are assigned tasks in the area of population protection and perform duties comparable to those of regular employees.
The Institute of Population Protection has established cooperation with the Food Bank of the Zlín Region. This cooperation includes student excursions within the course Food Safety, student volunteer involvement in food collection events, and support for the preparation of diploma theses thematically connected to food security.
