Activities with students
27.3.2025 to the students of the first year of the Master’s degree programme Logistic Process Safety within the subject Logistic Systems by Ing. Michal Ambrož-Purchasing Manager. The lecture was very much enjoyed and we hope that the cooperation will continue.
13. 3. 2025 within the Logistic Systems course, the students were lectured by the process engineer of Hella Mohelnice, ing. Ondřej Kostka. He introduced the students to the issue of automation of internal logistics processes. We would like to thank our former colleague Ondřej very much and we hope that he will come to visit us again!
Visit to the secondary school in Strážnice on January 29, 2025
At the end of January, we visited the Public Administration Academy and High School, s.r.o. in Strážnice, where we presented the students with study options at the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management at TBU.
During the meeting, they learned more about our study programs, practice, international opportunities and where graduates can find employment. There were also stories from practice and an interesting discussion about how logistics and crisis management work in real life.
Thank you to the school for the warm welcome and great atmosphere.
We believe that we will meet some students again – perhaps soon at our faculty!
The faculty has long-term cooperation with the company Altech, s.r.o., a major manufacturer of lifting equipment. Here, students of the Institute of Logistics have the opportunity to go on professional excursions, internships and work on diploma theses on real topics from practice. The company assigns topics according to its current needs, and the students’ suggestions often find practical application in solving specific challenges and innovations in operation.
This collaboration is a great example of connecting the academic environment with industrial practice, which benefits not only the students, but also the company itself. We thank Altech for the support and look forward to further joint projects! 🚀
