Activities with students
On March 20, 2025 our faculty was visited by prof. Ing. Gabriel Fedorko, PhD., MBA, from Technical University in Košice. In his engaging lecture he presented current trends in the field of crypto-technologies. The topic attracted not only students of Applied Informatics but also of Risk Management. We thank the professor for his time and valuable insights!
On 13.3.2025 students of the 1st year of Risk Management were visited by an expert from practice, Ing. Lubomír Galeta, HR Director of Climax, within the framework of the Human Resources Management course. The lecture was followed by a workshop where students tried creating an advertisement, Belbin personality test and also got acquainted with the adaptation plan of an employee.

Visit to the secondary school in Strážnice on January 29, 2025
At the end of January, we visited the Public Administration Academy and High School, s.r.o. in Strážnice, where we presented the students with study options at the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management at TBU.
During the meeting, they learned more about our study programs, practice, international opportunities and where graduates can find employment. There were also stories from practice and an interesting discussion about how logistics and crisis management work in real life.
Thank you to the school for the warm welcome and great atmosphere.
We believe that we will meet some students again – perhaps soon at our faculty!
In the summer semester 2024/2025, we have prepared excursions in companies for BSP Risk Management students
– Aircraft Industries (Kunovice),
– Colorlak (Old Town),
– Continental Barum (Otrokovice),
– Greiner Packaging (Slušovice),
– Hella (Mohelnice),
– Nestlé (Holešov).
Excursions will be focused on the safety of operations, risk management, health and safety, safety of food operations.
