Specialization: Risk engineering
The specialization Risk Engineering follows the bachelor’s study program Process Engineering, the field of Risk Management, or the newly accredited study program Risk Management. While in the first year of the follow-up master’s study, students complete mainly common subjects, in the winter semester of the second year, professional subjects of the given specialization are prepared for them.
Graduates of the Risk Engineering specialization should be able to identify and assess risks in the industry, public administration, and critical infrastructure elements, ensure the safety of the company’s operations, design and justify the selection of appropriate software to support risk assessment and management, and participate in crisis preparedness plans.
