Study
In the academic year 2020/2021, the Institute of Crisis Management guarantees and implements the teaching of the bachelor’s study program Risk Management (full-time and part-time) and the specialization of Risk Engineering in the follow-up master’s study program Company Security (full-time and part-time). Furthermore, it is responsible for the ongoing bachelor’s study program Process Engineering, which was the predecessor of the Risk Management program and is currently no longer admitting new students (it is intended for existing students to complete studies).

Employees of the Institute of Crisis Management pedagogically provide mainly subjects of economic-managerial basis, subjects from the field of risk analysis and assessment, crisis management, and psychology. Under their leadership, in the past, these topics of final theses were announced, which can be chosen not only by students of the above fields but also by students of other study programs at the faculty.

- A project of introducing risk management into a selected organization.
- Assessment of risks and identified safety deficiencies during an investment project in the metallurgical industry.
- Assessment of ergonomic aspects of selected work activity.
- Drought risks in the Czech Republic and a proposal for their mitigation in a selected region.
- A project of remediation measures in a selected company.
- Ways to reduce business risk in a particular company.
Bachelor thesis:
- Analysis of risks and safety of machines in a selected company.
- Proposal for an evacuation plan of a selected municipality.
- Issues of stress prevention and stress management in a selected organization.
- Analysis of financial risks in a selected company.
- Analysis of crisis communication in a selected emergency.
- Practical compliance with occupational health and safety in the production of plastic piping systems.
- Analysis of crisis preparedness of a selected hospital.
- Assessment of security risks during the organization of the European Under-21 Football Championship at the Municipal Football Stadium in Uherské Hradiště.
