Freemover programme
In the framework of the Freemover program, you can leave for study stays.
Studying abroad is a great opportunity for a person to move further, gather life experience, learn new friends, and let him or herself be enchanted by foreign culture.
What are the conditions of the Freemover study stay?
- Being registered as a student of a regular degree course at the TBU for the duration of the stay abroad.
- Having completed at least the 1st year of Bachelor’s degree course.
- Submitting an application to the International Department FLCM TBU in a timely manner.
- Completing the selection procedure.
What are the rules of the stay?
- The minimum length of the study stay abroad is 1 month, the maximal length is 12 months.
- The student may not interrupt or terminate their studies at the TBU before or during their stay abroad.
- The student may travel abroad in the framework of the Freemovers program repeatedly during their study at the TBU.
What is the financial provision of the study stay?
The student will receive a scholarship of CZK 10.000 / 1 month from TBU. The scholarship granted does not need to cover all the costs of studying abroad, it is only a contribution.
With the Freemovers program, you can travel to take a work internship anywhere in the world!
You can use one of our partner institutions or you can take the search for a foreign institutions into your own hands. The contents of the internship need to correspond to your degree programme focus. This program is financed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as part of the Institutional Development Plan of the TBU.

Financial provision of the internship:
The student will receive a scholarship for three months of the intersship from TBU, namely CZK 15.000 / 1 month. The student may apply for further financing of the stay by the faculty. The scholarship granted does not need to cover all the costs of studying abroad, it is only a contribution.
