Playful Rescuer or Safety Week of the Zlín Region

For the second time, the Zlín Region in cooperation with the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management and the IZS forces are organising a unique event for primary school pupils in the Zlín Region.
The aim of the event is to provide children with the knowledge and skills needed to cope with common risk situations in a fun way. The little “rescuers” will learn, for example, how important it is to wear seat belts and why it is necessary to keep things properly stored in the car. Police officers will also remind them of the importance of a cycle helmet and explain the risks of listening to music on headphones while crossing the road. Firefighters will advise pupils on how to prevent fires at home and how to put out a burning pot properly. They will then be given first aid by paramedics. FLCM students will work with the emergency services at all stations and work with the children.
