Martin Páv: Czechs in the EU institutions

On Wednesday 8 November 2023 at 10:00 a lecture with an expert on EU external cooperation projects from the European Commission will take place at the FLCM. Martin Páv will talk not only about the opportunities for international internships in the EU institutions, but also about the possibilities of joining the announced EU projects and the subsequent career in the EU institutions.
About Martin Páv:
Martin Páv studied engineering at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. In 1991 he joined the European Commission where he was in charge of public finance and banking sector reforms in Czechoslovakia under the Phare programme.
His work also included providing training at the Commission’s headquarters in Brussels and at EU delegations in third countries. He then worked for four years on strategic evaluations of EU cooperation with partner countries within the Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development. He currently works as an independent consultant for companies involved in tendering and implementing projects in support of partner countries and funded by the European Commission.
