Master’s students receive prestigious European certificate in logistics

The graduation ceremony at the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management at TBU Zlín brought not only diplomas, but also significant professional awards. Selected students of the Master’s degree programme in Company Security, specialisation Security of Logistics Systems, received the “Candidate European Logistician – cELog” certificate together with their diploma. The award was personally presented to them by the Dean of the Faculty, prof. Ing. Zuzana Tučková, Ph.D.

This certificate is awarded by the European Logistics Association (ELA) and is valid throughout Europe. It confirms that the holder meets high professional standards in the field of logistics and supply chain management. Students can use it as a strong point on their CV and as a ticket to the job market not only at home but also abroad.

Our students get a head start during their studies. The cELog certificate is a mark of quality that companies across Europe know well. It is a great advantage for the graduates and for us it is proof that we are going in the right direction,” said the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ing. Zuzana Tučková, Ph.D.

The Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management at Tomas Bata University in Zlín is one of the few institutions in the Czech Republic that is authorized to award these certificates. It has obtained it after a demanding accreditation process and thus confirms that it offers teaching that meets modern market requirements.
