Faculty hosted IX. Project Days REGION 47
1. July 2025Wednesday 25 June 2025 at our Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management UTB in Uherské Hradiště was marked by sharing ideas, cooperation and planning projects that have a real impact on the development of the region.
IX. Project Days REGION 47, which brought together experts of our faculty, representatives of companies, members of the Region 47 club and other interested members of the public. Together they discussed the challenges and opportunities that are currently shaping the future of our region.
Starting in the morning, the participants immersed themselves in a diverse program – interesting information on the Gifted Student Project was presented, followed by a discussion on the LOCATION 1 project, and topics such as Affordable Housing and Regional Product were opened up during the day. All these initiatives are united by a common goal: to contribute to the quality development of the region and to offer opportunities for cooperation not only to companies, but also to representatives of local governments and other partners.
The afternoon block was dedicated to the presentation of our Faculty – the Dean, Prof. Zuzana Tučková, presented to the representatives of the business club the possibilities of cooperation between companies and the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management of UTB. She offered an overview of research activities, student projects and possibilities of involving experts from practice in teaching.
The day concluded with a joint meeting of the Region 47 Steering Group, where key outputs from each project block were summarized and next steps were planned.
We are proud that our faculty could once again be a meeting point for people who care about the development of the region and the search for concrete solutions. Thank you to everyone involved and we look forward to further inspiring collaboration!
