That’s why we regularly organize excursions, professional lectures and mandatory internships, which give students direct contact with the reality of their future profession.
Excursions to companies and institutions
Our students regularly participate in excursions to important companies, institutions and components of the integrated rescue system. For example, the third year of the study program Population Protection visited the population in Lázně, where the Institute of Protection and Bohdani provides the most modern methods of technology in the field of civil engineering. Such excursions will allow them to see theory in practice and better understand how the key components of crisis management work.
Expert lectures with professionals
We want our students to be aware of the latest trends and challenges in the field. That is why we regularly invite experts from practice to share their experience and knowledge at the faculty. We recently hosted experts from the European Commission, who introduced the students to current issues of crisis and risk management. Such lectures broaden students’ horizons and enable them to gain valuable contacts in the field.
Mandatory professional experience
Every student of the faculty completes professional practice, which is an integral part of the studies. Thanks to it, students can test their knowledge in a real environment, gain experience and often even a job offer. The faculty has an extensive network of cooperating organizations that offer quality internships and practical experience for students of all study programs.
