We invite you to the CrisCon conference: topics that drive the world of crisis management
3. June 2025The Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management at the University of Technology in Zlín cordially invites the professional and lay public to the 14th annual international conference CrisCon, which will take place on 17-18 September 2025 in Uherské Hradiště.
This year, the conference will take place in the unique premises of the Hvězda Cinema, an architectural gem with the function of a fallout shelter. This choice of venue symbolically underlines the main focus of the conference – crisis preparedness, population protection and interdisciplinary cooperation.
What will CrisCon 2025 be about?
The conference will offer current topics that resonate not only among security professionals but also in society at large. Participants can look forward to, for example:
The causes of the increase in aggressive tendencies among Generation Z and their impact on the security situation,
The environmental impact of the railway accident near Hustopeče nad Bečvou and the landfill fire near Rynholce and the procedure for their liquidation from the perspective of the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic,
practical perspectives on emergency management,
and many other contributions in the field of critical infrastructure, civil protection and crisis management.
