3. October 2025How can we stop the rising aggression among young people, and what can we learn from recent tragedies? Experts sought answers to these questions at the CrisCon 2025 conference, organized by the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management at Tomas Bata University
During the conference program, participants discussed not only manifestations of aggression in schools but also experiences in managing crises in transportation and natural disasters. The lectures covered topics ranging from violence prevention among youth, through safety strategies in railway transport, to the experiences of professionals responding to large-scale fires and floods.
Safety expert Radim Pošíval highlighted that violence among children and adolescents threatens society as a whole, while other speakers shared practical insights, prevention methods, and concrete examples of crisis management. Paramedics demonstrated techniques and field experiences, showing how demanding and crucial their work is.
“The goal was to inspire and prepare a new generation of experts who will face the crises of the future,” said Dean Prof. Ing. Zuzana Tučková, Ph.D. This year’s conference attracted a record number of participants, confirming the growing interest in crisis management and safety. Next year, CrisCon will take place in September 2026, offering new discussions, experiences, and inspiration for both professionals and the public.
